Hakubo I

In collaboration with Allard Hebbink.

Hakubo is the Japanese word for twilight, the fleeting beauty of evening light. This generative algorithmic audio-visual work is a collection of highly personal relics from our lives, from Allard’s sailing childhood to Sen’s time living on a sub-tropical island in Japan; Ishigaki. It is a work embracing transitions, nostalgia, and the passage of time.
